There are still many discussions about the daily intake of carbs. Carbohydrates are fast energy carrier. They are needed during the time of growing up or exercise. With age the need for carbs decreases, therefore you should decrease the carb intake.
Focus magazine (Focus 01/2011) tested 50 forms of diet by nutrition experts. They declared that the only way to loose weight for a long-term result, staying fit and healthy is a consequent change in eating habits with a reduced calorie intake. In addition a balanced diet and a daily work out is required. Nutrition experts of Focus magazine said that only ten diets contain these facts.
