In my position as a specialist for plastic and aesthetic surgery I opened my Aesthetic Clinic Dr Mariam Omar in the pulsating heart of Berlin at the Ku´Damm 200. The clinic has its own hygienic certified operating room. The equipment is on the most modern and safest standards.
My medical focus are surgical and non-surgical procedures of the After-Baby-Body including breast surgery and body sculpturing with laser liposuction (Slimlipo Laser) and abdominoplasty and the face (face-neck lift, blepharoplasty, treatment of wrinkles and folds), PRP treatment for face, hair and body (e.g. Butterfly Lift). I perform the operations in my clinic intern high-modern operating room.
On the special field of aesthetic genital rejuvenation surgery (forming the labia minora) I gained experience for many years. During my studies I worked in the setting of clerkships in many different countries like Switzerland, Brasil, USA and Jamaika. After finishing medical school in 2000 I worked for 2 years in the UK and South Africa where I started my plastic surgery training. I absolved my specialist training at the Clinic for Plastic-Hand and Reconstructive Surgery, Burns Centre at the Campus of the University of Witten/Herdecke, Klinikum Merheim, Cologne.
For the Medical One in Berlin I worked as a consultant for 3 years until 2012. I continued my work as head of the department of POLIKUM Aesthetic until this year in march. I am also registered at the GMC in the UK on the specialist register for Plastic Surgery.
Memberships are the German Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (DGPRAEC) and the ISPRES (International Society for Plastic Regenerative Surgery).
